Changes to Incoming Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Instructions As a result of the recent merger between Bank of America and LaSalle Bank Midwest, N.A., there are some important mandatory changes that affect the banking information that should be used for remitting electronic payments to the University of Michigan.
The ABA (routing/transit) number for Bank of America should be used when remitting wire transfer payments to the University of Michigan from bank accounts held within the United States, and the SWIFT Bank Identifier Code for Bank of America (BOFAUS3N) should be used when remitting wire transfer payments to the University of Michigan from bank accounts held outside the United States.
